Approach on makeup!?

I really want to start wearing makeup but I don't know if my parents want me to. How do I talk about it or ask? How did you ask or get into makeup? Please help!

Just explain to your parents that you want to enhance your features, not cover then up! ask your mom to do your makeup, then half way in ask her if you can try to, do it light so she can c that you know to do it light. my dad actually WANTED me to start wearing make up, he said he'd rather guys be looking at my face them my "developing body" lol. if your dad is saying no because he thinks you want to wear make up to get a guys attention then just tell him that! but that might only work if your close with your dad. Explain to them WHY you want to wear it. Bring up that you were watching a video on youtube and saw a mascara that you'd like to try and go from there. :) Fortunately, my mom was understanding, and let me borrow some of her products first, then let me buy my own stuff. :)

Maybe when you are at the store just casually point out a mascara and start talking about the reviews you have read and ask if you could try it. Once your parents see you starting to like makeup more they will feel bettwe about you wearing it. For me I just started, one day I was watching YouTube the next I was at sephora (but of course I have have bought everything I have so it wasnt that hard for my mom to be okay with me wearing markup.

Before I started wearing makeup I would sneak into my moms makeup case and start putting on... after some time she got annoyed I was using hers and got me my own :) so just like start wearing!
