I struggle with this to...I just can't get anything to look right! But from watching shows n tutorials n just real people..you need your hair in check and everything else will fallow...becuase you can have the nicest clothes on but if your hairs blah then it doesn't looked polished.

It gets a little tough and confusing when you start out on your own. So go to someone get your hair done the way you think you'd like it and get their advice on how to keep it up at home. Same goes for makeup, go have your makeup done, make a consultation. If its important enough to get the look you want, then taking the time and spending some cash shouldn't be a problem.. as for clothing if you have a fashionista friend, have them go with you. Hope this helps.. From one hippie to another. :)

Try dyeing your hair to a dark brown with a very slight tint of red or try on a bright light pink lip color.

Nice hair! You have a great canvas to work with.. Clean blemish free skin and full lips and I see nice cheek bone! Start off by trimming your hair if it hasn't been trimmed and maybe add some ling layers and some choppy long side bangs and wear it straight, blow dry not ironed.. If you wanna go a little more dramatic add a few med blond high lights to the front hair pieces.. As for make up moisturize and use a tinted moisturizer or a bb cream and then some pink blush (I like Nars orgasm, it compliments many skin tones) and a pink nude lip color ( like Mac Creme Cup, or any other you prefer) and the eyes try arching a little more in the middle above the outside of your pupil.. And add a light Creme color brow highlighter and try a light gold lid and blend some plum color in the outer corners and some underneath your lower lash line and finish up with a black pencil eyeliner or charcoal black which is a little less harsh.. Also line the waterline and make those eyes pop! Hope this helps hun!:)

F F - thank you so much! I like the idea of blonde highlights, never would have thought it that (always end up brunette/red). Also agree on the eyebrows, they just grow too straight. Thanks again!

I think you should really put emphasis on your eyes, they're beautiful. Use like a lengthening mascara and black eyeliner. Maybe tight line it. Straighten your hair and wear a red lipstick. I don't think you need much makeup personally.

You're beautiful... These ladies gave good advice. Drew Barrymore is a polished hippie chick... Do you like her style?

Maybe straighten your hair and add a little volume so it's not laying flat on your face and define your eyes :)

Hey girl!! I think you should go for some thicker framed glasses slightly larger a little more square. go for some straight bangs cut about 2 inches off your ends get a one length with the bangs and go a dark brown... you have great eyes define em use a nice shimmery eye shadow and then do a coral red lip stick and use some peach colored blush.

I agree with most things on here but don't straighten your hair. Everyone straightens their hair these days, find something that is more you... If straightening your hair is you than great! Naturally wavy/curly hair is beautiful! Just find a better style for it during your appointment, something short and sexy but easy to manage and hassle free. :)
