All obsessive compulsive cosmetics Lip Tars are AMAZING. Long wear, rich pigmented color--and totally vegan. Pricey at $18 a tube but well worth the price; you absolutely get what you pay for. Too many colors to list, but they carry the lip tars at Sephora as well as online at their OCC website.

**the name is a bit deceiving...but the color goes on smooth, a little goes a long way and I think it's pretty matte. But it may not have the velvet finish you might be looking for. NARS velvet matte lip pencil in Dragon Girl is gorgeous and by far my favorite bright red in my collection. NARS products are also on the cruelty free list!
