Do clip on extensions help protect hair? What's the cheapest/best brand to get?

Www.headkandy.com. Amazing extensions and really affordable prices plus tones of colours to match yours with.

They are a lot better for your hair but they do not protect your hair. I would suggest getting real human hair. Try to find brands that say 100% remy human hair. Anyway I had a pair of luxy hair extensions and they were good for the price, they just don't match my hair color anymore so I don't wear them. I've heard good things about foxy locks hair extensions too, they are very similar. From reviews and things I've seen hellogorgeous hair extensions seem like really good quality (I'm buying a pair soon) but they might be a little too expensive if you want something cheaper. Other brands: headkandy, proextensions, or you could go to any Sally's near you (probably your cheapest choice ) but I've heard their not as thick as some of the others I mentioned.
