I get a lot of split ends and I keep hearing that coconut&almond oils are good for the hair (and many other things) but I was wondering what's the difference of refined or unrefined coconut oil?

Refined coconut oil went through a process such as chanching the distinctive color, which takes a part of the effect away. Unrefined coconut oil is pure and didnt get bleached or deodorized. If you want to get the best result and make your hair shiny and conditiond you have to use the unrefined coconut oil, it still contains the important ingredients which feed your hair. Hope this helped (:
