Mascara is really important for any look really. An eyelash curler and a couple of different types of mascara would be great to experiment with. good luck!

What I use daily is: foundation, powder, blush, mascara and an eye liner. If it's your first time wearing make up, I would suggest you to start with the mascara, that's what I started with! I only use foundation, powder and all that stuff in the winter time, cause I have a very fair skin that I don't really like. So if you're fine with your skin and skin tone, you could just concentrate with your eyes, which I think are very important. Buy a mascara that doesn't cost too much, just to "exercise", even if it's not that difficult. As said above, you could start watching videos on youtube to get more confident with make up. If you're wearing an eye liner pencil in the day light, be sure to not "press" to much. You can select a lot of colours, like blue, green or even brown. I think they're very nice colours but that I wouldn't personally try, I'm more for the black. In the morning, and especially at the beginning, I would suggest you to put your eye liner on your water line. As you become more confident you can try wearing, if you like, a liquid eye liner to wear on your upper lash line. That look is perfect for parties and special occasions. Let me know how it goes :)

Since you're starting off, I think you should start off with a BB cream (I love the L'Oreal bb creams!), concealer (L'Oreal concealers are the bomb, just saying), and a blush! ELF blushes are so great as a starter because they are pigmented and INEXPENSIVE! They are only 3$! How crazy is that? And definitely, you need brushes. But I think those are my essentials for a starter. Then, you can build up to get mascara, eyeliner, etc!

When I had just started wearing makeup, all I wore was mascara and a brown eyeshadow.

I started by just wearing concealer. I then began to use mascara, then neutral eyeshadow and now I use everything however my skin is quite good (healthy&I do nt have spots) so I don't wear foundation EVERY day but most days x
