I've been trying to strip my hair for the past couple of days. I really don't want to use bleach cause its too damaging. What can I use to strip or lighten my hair?

You can use a color remover. It's still hard on your hair but not nearly as bad as a bleach bath. I've only had it done at a salon so I'm not sure where you buy it. Probably just a beauty Supply store.

I don't know if you are from UK or not but in boots they have a really good hair stripper. Its called decolour hair colour remover for £12.99. I had black hair with a purple tint. I used that once on my hair and it went a light/medium brown. so if you did it twice I am sure it would get to blonde. I have dry and damaged hair and it didn't make it worse so its a lot better than bleach. its the only hair colour remover that has worked for me and I have tried a few out. hope this helps x

Clarifying shampoo!! Or a vitamin C wash! You take powdered vitamin C powder (buy at your health food stores) add equal mixture of powder and shampoo!!

I used Color Oops on dyed blue black hair, and it actually took out way more color than I was expecting. It's a great product that doesn't use any bleach or ammonia but the downside is that it smells awful and the stench will stick around for about a week after using it.
