Lemon juice works alright, it didn‘t do much for me. I find moisturizing helped lessen the appearance of my acne scars. Every few nights before my shower I‘ll run coconut oil on my face 10 min. before my shower then when I‘m showered and the oil has been washed off, I replace it with macademia nut oil and my spectro jel moisturizer. Macademia nut oil is similar to the stuff our skin produced when we were babies, making our skin soft, supple, and glowing. When you add that oil to your usual moisturizing routine it moisturizes your face and makes the darkness in your scars less pronounced.
Side note it also cleared up my acne and balanced my skin so it wasn‘t disgustingly oily. (: My scars a barely visible and my skin glows. (:

Lemon juice does help although it will dry out your skin causing it to crack and dehydrate if you use lemon on acne scars there is a chance your face will get patchy like lighter in some areas where you've used the lemon more then other areas however if it works for you keep using it but I strongly advise you use something that is based on just for scars like vitamin e oil.

Do you mean red acne scars? :) I use lemon on my face for over a year now as I don't use products anymore and my face is clean of any redness :D.

I knew a girl who put lemon juice on her acne, it scared really bad, the marks were more obviously than her pimples so I'm iffy on it.

You're not supposed to put it on just acne; that'd sting like hell. If you have scars, however, lemon juice can help you.
