Do you know your hair type? it would be more helpful to recommend products for the specific type of hair you have than for curls in general, since curls have such a variance in their nature and so in how you should care for them.

Sorry it took me a while to see this. for tight coils qhemet biologics has some good products, their light cream works for my 3c hair but they have heavier creams as well. I also really like as I am's cowash and leave in. briogeo makes some of my favorite products for my hair type but I don't know if they would be heavy enough for a 4 type. devacurl is in the same boat.

Can be pricey. but as I am products are great and also cantu naturals. I love using the pink eco styler gel or cantu cream and they also have this slippery gel consistwncy that I forgot the name of but I love.
