Okay my hair lately has been feeling weird lately, so right before I wash my hair roots feel really greasy and gross and then I wash it and it feels fine but then it's dry so I put some leave in moisturizing stuff and then it feels dirty again. I don't want to wash it again so I just leave it and then when it gets dry it feels fine. Then this cycle keeps going on and on till I put some baking soda in my hair to clean it and then it gets SUPER SUPER DRY and I can't fix how dry my hair is all the time! I put all this moisturizing stuff in and it's still dry! Can someone please help me!! (Shampoo: Garnier sleek and shine conditioner: garnier grow strong, bamboo tea solutions thick and full Leave in conditioner: tea tree hair moisturizer)

It's best to use a clarifying shampoo once a week. Example Tresmme clarifying shampoo. Follow with a deep conditioning mask that you rise off in shower - loreal damage erase is great. Twice a week use the loreal clay pre shampoo leave in mask and rinse off prior to shampooing. Every time you wash your hair while it's damp apply light weight argan oil you can find them at Sally beauty supply.

Stop using Garnier. that stuff is crap and has the PH of drain-o. the conditioner is all wax and is doing nothing but coating your hair and creating product build up. I agree with trying a clarifying shampoo to remove buildup but try a better hair mask such as pureology hydrate. I would also recommend using pureology hydrate shampoo and conditioner. Argan oil would be good for your ends and maybe once a week try doing an olive oil treatment. it also sounds like your scalp might also be overly dry so an olive oil treatment would help with that as well.
