Hi everyone!
I've been loving my new Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water foundation. But would like to make it last longer on my face, so I'm looking for a water based primer that would help the longevity of my foundation. I also have dry skin. Please let me know if you have any water based primers in mind!

I've never had any problems using my regular primers with that foundation even though they're not water based. Hourglass Mineral Veil, Smashbox Photo Finish, Urban Decay Optical Illusion, and Laura Mercier primers have all worked for me with the Rainforest of the Sea foundation (:

I have dry skin, and one of my faves is the IT Cosmetics #50 Serum Primer. I was in Sephora one day and decided to sample Too Faced HANGOVER Primer which I hear is good for dry skin. I put it on my left hand and put the IT on the other hand and the IT felt baby smooth in comparison to the Too Faced so I stuck with my IT.

I don't have a primer recommendation, mainly because I stopped using them for dry skin. what I would suggest (and what works for me) is to moisturize really well in place of a primer and find a good, alcohol free setting or barrier spray to keep things in place without drying you out. spray it before and after application for the best hold.

Smashbox has a great Primer Water. That should help the longevity of your makeup especially your dry skin!
