Some use acrylics or the bitter polishes. I personally have not found anything that works for me even knowing allllll the nasty things under the nails. but I keep trying!! good luck

What got me to stop initially was the promise of getting my nails done. My grandma gave me a couple weeks notice and said on my birthday (I was like 12) that she'd take me to get my nails done if I grew them out a bit. And I did because of that. Now I refuse to do my own nails until they grow out if I do bite them. I only reward myself with that when I haven't been biting them. I also find during stressful times having something that occupies my hands help.

People who bite their nails tend to have better immune systems because of the small intake of the germs under your nails builds up an immunity to them. And it helps to use fake nails

Nail biting is a nervous action. Find what is causing the impulse of having to nibble on your nails. If you can't, invest in getting your nails done regularly, it'll psychologically make you stop because of the beauty. It's a woman thing, LOL!
