I heard about rice water for healthy skin. What do you think? Could it work?

I've tried it.. I like it a lot but I wanna learn how to really make it not just letting the rice soak in water for 10 mins.

I've always heard it was beneficial when applied topically. I have some Rice sheet masks and I also use a rice powder mixed with milk for a dyi exfoliator/mask.

Olivia how did your skin change? Did you have any skin irritations?
I have rosazea (just a little) but I wanna try that. Yesterday I put rice in a bowl with water and put it in the fridge for 24 hours. Some say one should cook the rice first because of the benefits which comed out by cooking.
Marleen where did you get rice seehts?:)

Alina, it made my skin much softer and gave it a sort of porcelain finish.. it also helped with oil production and I didn't even need to wear much makeup because it gave me such a pretty natural glow.

So it reduces redness?:)
How exactly do you use it? And how much per day?
When did you see results?
Sorry for so much questions :)

I'd wager that most of what you would get from rice water would be placebo.
Rice on its own is not overtly nutrient dense. It contains some minerals that may infuse into the water, but manganese and selenium are not majorly beneficial for the skin, and it's got scant anything else in terms of nutritional value aside from providing some fiber and caloric intake when ingested.

And what is the effect of them?
Well I put cotton rouds in the rice water and stick them on my face. Maybe the effect is the same?:) I an not sure
