This is just a 1st impression of the newly released Maybelline Colossal One Shot Mascara, Maybelline Precise Brow gel with fibers and Loreal Infallible Total Cover. The mascara is supposed to give you volume & length in just one coat. I didn't get satisfactory results, going to work with it a bit more. I went to a party last night and didnt want to take a chance on a new foundation. So I used my LoreL Lumi everywhere except my forehead where I put the new foundation on. I also used it as a spot concealer over my Lumi. So far so good. It's really thick and I had to really squeeze hard to get it out of the tube, but it blends nicely and smoothly, Gonna try it all over my on Monday. The brow product on the other hand is a winner for me. It gives my brows color and thickness. Here's a picture "

I am DYING to get my hands on that foundation. I'm glad you like it so far! In looking forward to seeing a full face impression. The packaging, the coverage, the finish... it sounds like my perfect foundation!

Oo I haven't heard of that foundation! I'm excited to see how it works. I love their infallible pro matte.

I'm kinda scared wearing a long wearing, full coverage foundation like this because of my dry, textured skin. I usually prefer a light to medium coverage foundation because a lot of full coverage foundations just don't sit well on , mature, dry, textured skin. But when I saw it on the shelf, I knew it would be well sought after and I didn't want to not be able to get my hands on it if it got good reviews.

So far, I really like the foundation. I have mature, dry skin with a lot of texture and discolaration from melasma. First of all, it wasn't total coverage. It was more high medium. That's OK, coz I feel any foundation that will cover my melasma will look and feel masky. I have not used the Pro matte version, but I have used the Pro Glow which I like, but not as much as this new Total Cover one. I thought it might look thick and cakey but it wasn't. The thick moussy texture actually did a better job at "smoothing" the texture of my skin better than the Pro Glow. I still needed concealer to cover my melasma. It has a satin finish. I'm guessing not as matte as the Pro Matte, but not has glowy as the Pro Glow. It wore well, but honestly most foundations don't budge on my face. My face did get a little more of a glow to it towards the end of the day, but I have dry skin, so the added glow was a bonus. This may be get a tad too shiny for those with oily or oily/combo skin... possibly. Again, it isn't a total cover foundation, but covered more than the Pro Glow and did a better job smoothing my textured skin. My dry skin likes it. I just got another Tarte Shape Tape in one of the new shades, Tan Sand, (I already have the medium for under my eyes) so I have high hopes in it covering up my melasma. Still working on the mascara. It definitely does not give good results with just one coat, but it is OK with 2 coats. Still loving the Precise Brow Fiber gel. So, I will definitely be repurchaseing the foundation and brow gel, and I will use up the mascara but probably won't repurchase it.

Glad to hear a review from you! Ugh I wish drugstores gave out samples lol. I have oily skin and I want to try it but I hate to have another one in the drugstore foundation graveyard lol.

Also want to comment on the Infallible Total Cover foundation. Although I do love the squeezy tube, because of the thick, moussy texture, you do have to use a firm squeeze to squeeze it out. But be careful, coz if you squeeze too hard and too fast, it will randomly squirt out into mid-air or God forbid on your clothing or carpet. Also, I think the color of the outside packaging is just one color no matter what shade you buy. I got Sun Beige and the packaging is about 2-3 shades darker. I think it a completely opague plastic tube, so you can't see the color you're getting by the outside. You're going to just have to know, by comparison to the other Infallibles. I use the mascara again today, this time as only the 2nd coat over my Supersizer mascara. I like the One shot better as a 2nd coat.
