I honestly have heard many good reviews about the glow kits. I think you should go to a store and test those and some others out and see how you like each one!

For a soft, natural glow - kevyn aucoins liquid or powder or beccas liquid highlighters. from the drugstore Revlon has a liquid illuminator that looks very natural.
for something a bit more noticable I like looxi, colourpop, and Mary loumanizer from the balm when I am not tanned and nyx
for something more dramatic I like ofras, beccas (though her powders have larger chunks of glitter than I like they can be blended down and aren't noticeable from a distance. up close though...) or layering any of the powders over a liquid
I have to agree with the negative reviews on anastasias. they were very chunky for my taste.

My favorite highlighters are definitely mac extra demention skin finishes and for a pop of color once in a while I use milk makeup holographic stick with just a tiny drop of milk face gloss on top. Milk makeup is really a very interesting brand I have a few products and use them quite often (:

Benefit - What's Up? It's absolutely amazing, it's so smooth and blends well on top of makeup. It also catches the light to give a natural glow! I highly recommend it! :-)
