Hey folks. Been a while since I posted! I am looking for some brush recommendations for use with the l'oreal pro matte foundation. I've been using a beauty blender & its dupes with this foundation for over a year and I love the finish it gives versus using my finger or the few brushes I've tried (all dense buffing brushes, from RT, morphe, and up&up). I'm getting tired of replacing it constantly, and thinking about the waste, not to mention the price over time having to replace it so often. So I want to invest in a quality brush, but having had not-so-great results with this foundation after using a brush, I'm hesitant to "waste" money on a brush that ends up not working. My main issue is that this foundation sets SO fast, that even when working in small sections, it gets streaky with a brush or fingers. Has anyone had better luck with a brush with this foundation? I don't mind spending a bit more to get a quality brush, I'd just like some input first. And I can't see myself spending more than $30. Thank you!

I should mention I'm not willing, at this point, to switch foundations. It hits every mark for me, starting over with a new foundation isn't something I, or my wallet, really want to do at this point in time.

Honestly my favorite foundation brushes are the toothbrush ones...but not the expensive kind. I mean the ones you can get for 3 dollars on eBay.

Robin, have you seen the new Artis brushes? They just released a line called Brushcraft that is waaaay more affordable, the most expensive one is $24.50. I'm considering going with that but there's next to no reviews because they're so new.

On Amazon the Artis brushes are very affordable in a set. I have ordered some but haven't used them yet.

I love my It Cosmetics flat top buffing brush. Not too pricey and it's easy to clean, doesn't loose its shape, doesn't shed. I don't know the name but it's at Ulta and it's part of the silver handle line.

Thank you, ladies! I will check into those! I've heard really good things about both of those.

MODA Brushes BMD-180 & BMD-185 are my favorite. Elf has a nice buffer brush too that I use to do my best friend's makeup; she uses the same foundation that you do.
