I've never tried the Born This Way but their color range runs very yellow from what I've seen so if you're more neutral or cool I wouldn't suggest it. I absolutely love the Estée Lauder Double Wear, it's long wearing and doesn't break down from skin's oils. Just use a little bit and really buff it into the skin for lighter coverage (:

Born this way I love it looks beautiful on the skin and gives a natural look.

Both of these are quite full coverage. Of course you can sheer them out. Have you considered a serum foundation like Tarte Rainforest of the Sea or MAC WaterWeight? Those are light to medium and can be built up. I love BTW but it's full coverage in my opinion, although it does look very natural on the skin. I'm on my third bottle. I am light-medium neutral and Nude is my perfect match. Another good light to medium coverage foundation is UD Naked (the original not the all nighter)

I've tried both and found that even being an oily person the ester lauder double wear foundation clung to any dry patches, it wasn't very forgiving even though the coverage was 👌 however without a doubt too faced born this way is my holy grail medium coverage which can be built up to high, very glowy and looks so natural and flawless. Looks like your own skin xx
