Rosehip oil for acne?

I recently heard that rosehip oil is supposed to be good for acne and scarring and I was wondering if any of you have had any experience with it?

It contains decent amounts of vitamin c and some fatty acids if I'm not mistaken. This can lend itself well to helping to fade red marks provided you are exfoliating and using SPF everyday.

However it doesn't contain any compounds that actively treat acne if that's what you're asking.
