Has any of you ever tried this moisturizer? I've been using it for several weeks now and every time I put it on it flakes all over my face after I've rubbed it in to where the white is absorbed into my skin - and I can't tell if it's the product itself or if it's drying out my skin and making my skin flake - honestly it does make skin feel dry when I put it on but just wondering if anyone has experienced this with this cerave moisturizer as well... it's my first time trying a cerave product and I have to say I'm not impressed - probably won't buy from them again
Any input is much appreciated! Thanks!

Maybe it's old.
I've been using this product for months and it's never flaked on me or dried out my skin. I have dry skin and use this (by itself) to prevent sun damage

I use this one and I'm really happy. It is a little bit hard to spread, but once it is spread so the white is gone, I find that it doesn't leave any residue let alone flakes on the skin and also keeps it moisturized all day. my skin is combination dry though, only gets a bit dry on my nose and cheeks, so that make might a difference.

Sometimes products with sunblock tend to ball up on my skin and kind of flake off. I liked this moisturizer, but I think I know what you're talking about bc I stopped using it bc of that. I much prefer the CeraVe PM Lotion with an extra SPF added on top. :)

I tried out the CeraVe AM/PM lotion and ended up returning it.
1. AM/PM lotion both contain the same ingredients as the 12 FL OZ Moisturizing Lotion (The big bottle) and I can get 2 (so thats 24 FL OZ) of the big bottles at BJS wholesale for the price of one small bottle.
The ingredients are exceptionally the same. Only difference is the included sunscreen in AM and that the small bottles include Niacinamides.

2. I disliked the texture of the AM product as you do. It felt rough and did not sit well underneath my make up. Certain areas balled up as well. I also had the same issue using CeraVe's sunblock.

I prefer using the regular lotion without sunblock since the ingredients are virtually the same and get more for my money. The regular moisturizes my skin and doesn't ball up. I apply EltaMD sunblock on top which sits beautifully under my make up without balling up or making me look dry.

That happened to me too. I put it on and it started to rub off as well and I couldn't tell if that was skin or the product. Now I know! So you're not alone! It's the lotion :(

Same for me. the am is good for no makeup days. it doesn't sit well under makeup as it will flake. it is good for natural days... you really need to make it sink in. this is annoying for me to but I still use it. it is the "worst" product in their line but still really good so I do suggest you try other products still

Thanks for the input beauties! I usually notice the flaking almost immediately after I've rubbed in all the white - and I do let it sit before applying any makeup - it's just really strange cause I've tried a lot of different products with SPF and that has never happened to me before so it must be something different in this cerave product that is not jiving with my skin - either way I'm going to use the whole bottle cause it was pretty expensive (like $12) for a drugstore moisturizer - hopefully it will stop and my skin will get used to it at least that's what I'm hoping! Thanks again for all the input! Really appreciate it!
