this morning I wanted to go for that rust brown and green look and I tough I would share it with you!
where do you take you inspiration?

-Makeup Geek "Frappe" pact on the lid and blended in the crease
-Yves Rocher eyeliner in Jade
-L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon black mascara
-Maybeline brown eyeshadow from "TheNudes" palette + NYX tinted brow mascara in brunette for my brows

I adore green eyeliner =) I think the color combination is great. have you considered doing the opposite? I'm thinking maybe like a camo green on the lid with a shiny bronzy liner, sort of like realtree camo with the sticks! Just a suggestion. the other thing you could do is add another shade in your waterline or under your eyes to give it that really multidimensional camo type of feeling =)
I tend to draw inspiration from my activities, or what I'm doing that day, for example if it's a Saturday I'll do my makeup in my alma mater's colors for our football games, or Sunday I'll do my NFL team's colors. I love stuff like that because I try not to do the same look twice so it forces me to be creative and do something different with my eye look even though the colors are almost always the same.
I also like to do my eyeshadow to match my clothing, so if I'm wearing a patterned dress to work I'll pick 3-4 colors out of the dress and try to make it work and see how it turns out.

Hannah that is a very good idea to do the opposite! I don't have a bronze liner, but I'll make it work with eyeshadow. And I chose to put Brown on my lower lashline instead of my waterline to make more daytime appropriate (but you can barely see it in my picture and the contrast is not that great with the darker green). I'll check and try to use a lighter green to improve contrast!

It is a liquid liner and the staying power is good but I can't use the brush as it is so thick! I use a liner brush and dip it in. I mainly use this eyeliner for the color ans not it's attributes!!
