So ladies I've been wanting to try a new foundation. I currently used the KVD Lock it Tattoo foundation and it works really well for me.
I want to know if anyone can tell me if the Rainforest of the Sea would work for me too, going off of the fact that I already use the KVD one. I just don't want to buy something that's not going to work for me.
I bought the Nars Sheer glow over summer and I liked it in the sore but it just doesn't seem to look the same since I brought it home. So I am trying to avoid another situation like that.

I absolutely love the Rainforest of the Sea foundation! It doesn't cling to any dryness and it also doesn't break down from skin's oils. It looks very natural and you can get different coverage levels depending on how you apply it (I like to use the Sigma F80 with patting/stippling motions to get the most coverage). Super lightweight and very long wearing, I would definitely recommend it (:

Sadly my experience was the exact opposite of Alexis C's. I felt that it clung to and exaggerated areas where I have dry skin. I tryed really hard to make this work for me too. I tryed it out with 3 different moisturizers (cerave pm, clinique dramatically different & air repair), no moisturizer, and 5 different primers (Too faced hangover, hourglass mineral veil, smashbox original light, smashbox primer oil & dr brandt pores no more) and it just didn't perform well. I also tried applying it with a beauty blender, a flat top tarte brush, ud optical blurring brush, an elf stippling brush, real techniques expert face brush and my fingers. My foundation would break down around my nose and chin within a few hours and looked patchy and uneven elsewhere. I went back to my estee lauder double wear and have not regretted it.
