I just got my hair died a very dark brown, I had a reddish light brown before this and it kept fading to an ugly orange color so I decided to get this. I am in LOVE with it, and the red from the previous color is coming through a little bit and I surprisingly really like that.. I just wanted to know what to do to help prolong the fading, and also keep the red a nice looking subtle red. thank you so much!

and that is my brother in the background in the picture haha.. he photobombed a picture without even knowing

I would pick up the brilliance shampoo and conditioner duo by Wella:) its specifically for colored hair. Also avoid washing your hair in hot water and if you use any hot tools make sure to use a heat protectant and don't use any heat higher than 385 degrees. my favorite heat protectant is Trilliant by Sebastian :)

You can get a color sealer at Sallys beauty supple store. I color my hair and my mothers also my son's. and I discovered hair sealer's when I colored his hair blue! With color such as blue, it fades fast with ever wash, however the sealer will close the cuticle of the hair shaft and maintain the color for longer! Good luck with the color!
