Hi everyone! I'm on the hunt for a new foundation. I've been looking at :
1.) NARS all day Luminous foundation
2.) Tarte rainforest of the sea foundation
3.) Makeup forever Ultra HD foundation
4.) Smashbox studio skin foundation
I have normal skin for the most part (just a little dry at times). I like all the finishes of these foundation and I am ok with the prices. I would like to hear your personal opinion on them/ experience and which ones you like :) also please fe free to suggest any other foundations!
Thank you

Do you have a sephora near by so you can go in and ask for samples? I like the first and third one on my dry skin, the Mufe one is a favorite overall. but everyone's skin is different and you are bound to have a unique experience with something like foundation.

I hated the NARS, it really accentuated any and all texture on my skin.
I love the Tarte, it's a favorite of mine and I highly suggest that one.
Hated the MUFE as well, also made me look textured and was very heavy on the skin both visually and with how it felt.

Thank you so much ladies! And Aleena you're right. I think I'll just samples for all of them and purchase my fav one! Don't want to spend so much money on a foundation that doesn't work for me :)

The Nars might be the worst foundation I've ever tried. Accentuated pores I didn't know I had. Not a fan of the MUFE- too silicone heavy for my taste, feels heavy. Sampled the Smashbox-meh. Not bad but not worth the price. Love the Tarte Rainforest- feels light and looks like skin.
But everyone has different tastes- so what didn't work for me might be great on you. For reference, I have normal to dry skin that I keep very hydrated with my skincare regimen.

Getting samples is definitely a good way to find out which one works best for you!
I have dry skin and one of my favourite foundations is the Tarte one you mentioned, I find it to be hydrating and it looks really natural on my skin. I don't look cakey or textured in anyway, it just looks like my skin which is nice.
