How much would this hair dye range to if done professionally?

I want to get my hair done professionally. I'm looking for an ombre or balayage look for summer. I went to a salon near my house and asked, she said it usually starts at $184. Is that how it is at most places? Thanks!

I would call and email around. It'll depend on how high end you go (Marc Anthony salons will be much pricier than a master cuts), what stylist you go to, what products they use and how much chairs are in your area. Whether they charge a flat fee or hourly, etc.etc. A lot of factors! No city will be the same in prices.
