Hey Jess! I really recommend using Clinique beyond perfecting foundation as I have oily skin too and it seems to be the only product which doesn't make me go orange, it's a little pricey but so long lasting

For oily skin, I dust a little no color powder on the skin before foundation- then I buff it into the skin. It's a Wayne Goss trick and it really helps control oil and prevents oxidation.

Yes, you may need a silicone based primer which helps prevent your oil mixing with the makeup since the silicone create a barrier.

You could also buy a pure white foundation and mix a couple of drops with it which could lighten up the color bit the shade may be too light until it oxidizes

I agree with Charli, your foundation is oxidizing because of your skin. What's your skincare routine and what products are you using? Are you using a primer?

Pale problems Fien! I might have to try a different foundation altogether tbh! I think I may need to use a beauty sponge to try blend the foundation in! Thank you for your advice Fien!

I know the struggles of being a pale girl 😅. Maybe you can try a lighter application or use a beauty sponge. I personally have a pale, yellow toned complexion. So from experience I know that some foundations that are too pink toned, can look orange on me. But if nothing works, you're foundation is probably still too dark. 😕 I hope you can make it work and that this was helpful xx

Hi girls!

I'm currently using Lasting Perfection foundation, the lightest colour you can get because I'm pale 😂
But whatever I seem to do I always go orange.. I've been to a boots store and got my skin tested to see what colour I am and I am using the correct foundation, but I think I'm either using too much, or I'm applying it wrong, because I do use my fingers to rub it in 😳 can anyone suggest anything?
