I just bought the john frieda sheer blonde brightening shampoo and conditioner and I wanted to know if it will get rid of brassy tones?

Is it purple or blue? Then yes.
I believe it's to lighten hair though not to tone hair. From what I remember it's a slight bleaching agent.
You'll need an anti brassiness shampoo or anything labeled purple or blue shampoo
