Hey guys!
I have naturally wavy hair and I have to straighten my hair to get it straight. Are there any ways I can get my hair to be straight without heat or any tips you have when using heat becuase even when I straighten my hair it doesn't last for the whole day...
Thank you in advance

Short of having it chemically treated your hair will always want to revert to its original texture eventually.
Best thing I ever did for my hair was accepting that, the damage you'll do styling it constantly isn't worth it.

@Jess M I know it's so annoying!! ♡
@Leuca S I don't use heat on my hair everyday but I can't have my hair natural because its honestly awful!! So most of the time, overnight I plait it so I get nice waves for the morning:) It's just that my hair NEVER stays straight and my natural hair isn't even that wavy... ♡

If you don't mind could you post a picture of your natural hair? Using the right products and techniques can work with the natural texture and make it look loads better.

@Leuca S Yes that's fine! I will post one tomorrow when my hair is natural! ♡♡

My hair is straight from the roots and gets an annoying frizzy wave from the neck down (I have moderately long hair). The method I use to not fry my hair is this: I wash it at night and let it air dry. Then I use my Chi straightener in the morning- I spray a heat protectant from Redken on first. Because it's a high quantity straightening iron, it only takes a couple of passes to make my hair sleek. My stylist always comments about how healthy my hair is. If you have a pretty wave to your hair, embrace it. My hair is a mess without styling. I will say that the Alterna CC cream has helped my hair a lot. I comb it through towel dried hair and my hair is less frizzy and wavy in the morning. To counteract the heat styling, I wash my hair every 3rd day and do a weekly hair mask (Brigeo Don't Despair Repair).

There are products to protect your hair from heat - and then the best thing to do to get rid of current damage is to cut your hair to keep it healthy then maintain it from there - so to protect your hair you should use a heat protectant spray before you use any heat and then afterwards replace the moisture in your hair with a moisturizing oil - I like argon oil but jojoba oil works well too - this will help to keep your hair healthy - but of course reducing heat use as much as possible is the best thing - so try to only blow dry /straighten once or twice a week then just don't wash your hair and use a dry shampoo to keep the straight style throughout the week - or if you can just wear your hair natural for a few days that works too - and when you use a straightener if you can control the temperature then try to keep it below 360F to reduce burning your hair and causing more damage - hope this helps!

Using some type of hair oil can help prevent frizz from happening during the day
