So I have dyed dark brown, almost black hair. I haven't dyed in it 6 months so its grown out some bit, probably 2-3 inch's. I just hate the color contrast difference. Is there anything I can do to make the color fade so its not so prominent, without dying my hair?
I'm in the process of growing my hair long. So I'm trying to get it the healthiest it can be, that's why I don't want to dye it.

There are hair sprays now that deposit a bit of colour to your hair to cover the roots, I don't think it'd be permanent but might be nice for occasions

If you are looking to fade out the parts that are dyed, unfortunately there isn't much you can do. Especially if you used box dye. Something I do when I want to lighten extensions is use dish soap, it strips hair of color. But if it has been 6 months I think the best thing you can do is wait!
If you do have a special occasion or something and don't want a root look, you could try putting mascara (brown or black) on your roots. Washes out but gives you a fresh color look. Hope this helped!! :)

Dish soap, ascorbic acid, Coca Cola, and any drug store shampoo fades out permanent color.

There are many branded hair care products available in the market, which can help you to get those thick black tresses. However, it is not easy to understand which one is perfect for your skin and hair according to its composition. Therefore, I think you should contact a hair expert who offers free consultation and advice for getting those thick black hairs.
