I'm going away for the weekend and I'm trying not to take my entire vanity with me even though I know it's going to wind up happening, lol.
Any advice for traveling with all your makeup and brushes??

I would just take all your essential skincare products, and downsize as much makeup as you can. I'm not sure what all you include in your routine, but I would take one of my smallest eyeshadow palettes, 1 or 2 lipsticks, and then whatever else you use because I guess you can't downsize face products as much. Maybe skip contouring. :)

I have a standard size makeup bag. I put in my skincare products, foundation, powder, eyeliner, and mascara. Hope this helps.

I just take a makeup bag with all my daily used items (brushes, makeup and snub care that I use everyday), and I tend to take a small eyeshadow palette that is pretty versatile in case I need to do fancy makeup for something

I have two separate bags for skin care and makeup in case anything leaks. I always downsize (buy travel size or put products in travel containers) and if it's a liquid (moisturizer, foundation etc) I put it inside a food bag or zip lock bag) also take minimum because you are only going for a weekend. Have a great time! Hope this helps:) ♡

I would take products that you can use for multiple looks... your favorite primer, foundation, concealer, and whatever else is in your daily routine. You can also take one daytime lip color and one nighttime one. For brushes, I would take only the essentials, but many brushes you can use for multiple things! I have a concealer brush that works great as a blending brush for eyeshadow. Think about that and that might help you find your key collection!

I travel a lot, so I purchased this travelling bag that works with cosmetics. It was 10 pieces and only $15.

When I travel I like to plan my makeup looks out in advance that way I know exactly what to bring and nothing more and I use the same base and brow products for each look so that's less products that I feel the need to bring (:

I always check a bag and bring a large tote as a carry on. I put all my makeup in there along with books, chargers etc. That way if I need to access it I can and I know it's not getting thrown around by airport staff. I usually also bring the essentials like foundation and a good palette that has neutrals with some pops of color. That way you have more room for more stuff like lipstick, single shadows and so on.👌🏻
