I had the flu this past week and of course rubs my poor nose raw until it is peeling and raw. What can I put on it to speed the healing process up?

Soak nose in warm water to make sure there is no layer of mucus trapping germs against your skin irritating your shnoz. Steam shower should help. follow up by coating with Chapstick.

Oh, I hate that. I get sinus infections really easily so my nose takes quite a beating and gets flaky. At night I use Vaseline (or un-petroleum jelly, if you prefer) and during the day I use calendula face cream, which is actually for babies but I figure if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me. That mask Cheryl posted looks interesting, aloe is always good for soothing sun/wind burn, so it would probably be great for "tissue burn" as well.

Mineral Oil, Paraffin & Petrolatum – Petroleum products coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatological issues, like slowing cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer & Disruptive of hormonal activity
