What does "touching up" your makeup mean to you?

It sounds stupid but when you think about it, everyone touches up their makeup differently!

Also, I'm curious how people touch up their foundation/concealer hours later when they have already powdered over that area. Or how they powder their entire face over their contour, bronzer, highlighter and blush!

For me, If I'm touching up my face I pretty much just dust translucent powder or mac blot powder over any areas that I look oily.

How do you touch up your makeup?

This is a good one! I'm looking forward to the answers. for me, it means looking in the mirror and fixing anything that has faded or smudged. so reapplying lipstick, concealer, blush, or highlighter that got rubbed off or just wore off over time. wiping away under eye smudged and reapplying lower lash mascara or liner. I have very dry skin so I don't powder my face at all and blush is really the only powder product I use on a regular. that makes the process a bit easier for me.

I used to carry a makeup bag filled with almost everything I was wearing that day. Blush, powder, eyeliner, mascara, concealer, lip products, brow products etc. But tbh I would rarely use any of it. Now I usually only bring powder, a sponge or powder puff, and lip products. Usually if I'm wearing a nude lip or any other color besides a bold color I'll just apply a nude gloss over top of what I'm already wearing. I don't really powder because my skin doesn't get that oily. I take the sponge/powder puff and blend away any creases under my eyes and smile lines. Thats usually all I'll do.

For me touching up means using a blotting powder on my face areas that become oily, and reapplying my lipstick and liner. I do carry a backup eyeliner for my waterline and a travel sized mascara  (:

For me, touching up means reapplying lipstick, gloss. I don't powder my whole face- I just do my t-zone and set under my eyes lightly. So I will sometimes add more blush or apply some bronzer for evening or as a pick me up. I sometimes deepen my eyeliner too. I would never apply foundation over foundation- I would have to start over.

To touch up I can't really be bothered to redo half my face and redo bronzer and highlight etc.so I just put on powder because I have oily skin and it evens out my skin tone and I will reapply lipstick or whatever lip product I'm wearing that day and just make sure nothing has smudged! ♡

I actually never touch up my foundation or concealer. It's probably because I wear sheer to light coverage with buildable medium my max and rarely ever use powder.

If I do powder a little, my Hourlgass Ambient Lighting never seems to need touch up and if I top my Benetint cheek stain or Amazonian Clay blush with the Hourglass it doesn't budge or fade. My liner or mascara, I just keep a travel size q-tip case from the drugstore in case there's a smudge or a little flaking while I'm out for quick clean up.

My touch-ups would be lipstick (after eating) and sun protection. Love the Dr. Jart Sheer Mineral Sun Spray as I can spritz it over my foundation/make-up without disturbing it or ever looking oily, even if I'm wearing more buildable coverage that day.

I have dry skin, so I lightly mist some Pixi Glow Mist on my face and gently press it in with a dry beauty blender. I'll powder the sides of my nose and the small areas on on either side of my nose. Then I apply a tinted lip balm.
