I'm just getting into some of the more expensive brands of make-up like Stila and Urban Decay. My hubby bought me the Naked 2 pallet which I love and I am addicted to the Sin Eye Primer. I just want to know what's the best out there before I invest more money in my kit... Am I going in the right direction?

It's really what your looking for, but you can't go wrong with the classic French brands: Chanel and Dior, they do absolutely beautiful make up. Bobbi Brown is amazing too. Mac is great for colours and Shu Uemura is one of the best for false lashes. Armani does beautiful make up too, in particular their foundation and eyes to kill eye shadows and mascaras.

I totally agree with @Farrah C. I personally have Armani Maestro foundation and it provides a beautiful finish. Also the eyeshadows are pretty great as well. Shu Uemura is so underrated despite the beautiful shades and decent pigmentation. Bobbi Brown is my personal fave (hardcore collector of her products) and hands down her concealers and correctors are the best. Another line that is great is Hourglass. The lippies and eyeshadow duos are to die for when it comes to pigmentation and longevity of product.

You and me both, absolutely loving Bobbi Brown at the moment especially her caviar and oyster collection, the new spring summer collection looks so pretty too. As for Hourglass, definitely couldn't be without the lash lacquer!
