Does anybody know of any good vitamins or anything that's good for anxiety?

I have anxiety too.. Really really badly. What I do is try to find something that really grabs my attention and focus on it. It usually takes my mind off of it. Either that or talking to a loved one. That's all I do to calm myself down! But I still would like to go to a doctor for help.

I have it really bad also I get really shaky and like nervous about nothing it sucks. I'm not even really social anymore because its gotten so bad. I use to be on Zoloft but it never helped I took Xanax to but that just makes me really sloppy. I live with my bf and I'm always with him, he tries to calm me down but it never seems to help :( I've been dealing with anxiety for so long I'm just ready for it to stop.

That sounds just like me... I've stressed my some family out cause I basically get anxious over nothing everyday. I get all nauseous, shaky and just plain scared. So I hear ya it's awful.. I'm supposed to see a therapist pretty soon.. Cause sometimes my boyfriend can't even calm me down and he usually always has a way.

Hi there! I to suffer with very bad anxiety. I know those nights where you're shaking so bad that you're crouched into a ball and just crying for it to all go away. I've suffered with this since I was 8. For me when this happens I've learned to do several things. One, i sing to myself. Anything just sing. Two, I pat my legs creating a beat to calm my heart rate. I always tell myself repeatedly that I will be ok. Talk to yourself out loud during the attacks. Count things also. Anything. And most importantly seek professional help.

Thanks guys I will have to try these little strategies hopefully they help. Because lately it's been at its worst. I was recently pregnant and I felt fine the whole nine months I was so happy and comfortable I thought my anxiety was gone, then right before I had the baby my nurse told my it would more likely come back that I was probably only mellowed out because I was pregnant and sure enough it's coming back and at its worst. I would do anything for this to just go away

I wanna try something natural so I'm gonna go to the vitamin store when I have the chance and see what I can find there.

Try going to a Naturopathic Dr for herbal medicine. Xanax and Zoloft is not good for you. I have tried the pills called Herbal clam from my Naturopathic dr and it works good for me. I only take it when needed. But my anxiety is not as severe tho.

I know this sounds crazy but I've suffered with anxiety for decades, make sure you aren't mouth breathing. The body perceived this as hyperventillation andThe excess oxygen disrupts all the body processes so that it ends up with a snowball effect and full blown panic attacks. Also it dries out your lips. If your over 18 and live in a state with compassionate use laws cannabis will halt a panic attack in its tracks but see the dr first- don't buy illegally cause that will just make u paranoid lol.

I have been getting bad anxiety for about 3 years now and something that helps me
Sometimes is I try to stay calm and take deep breathes if u can I know its hard the first time I found out I had anxiety I cried so much I couldnt even sit up I hate the feeling so I know how u feel I noticed 1 thing forsure is try not to cry I know it hurts but I notice if I start crying the feeling gets worse so just try to stay calm n just take a deep breath and try not to think about it .
