My sister has brown eyes, she uses just black eyeliner. They say blues and golds look good for eyeshadows but if you're not very well at making pop colors look good you should stick to golds. It's easy to put on and the finished product looks great!

I have brown eyes and light purple , light goldish brown and pinks make my eyes pop and I use either black or purple eyeliner. Almay make an eyeshadow pallet and eyeliner for specific eye colors so you can always try that :)
