You need to cut the burnt hair akin with using a heat protectant and deep condition it. Probably a good idea to take biotin or prenatals as well

cut it off. your hair is going to keep splitting and breaking until it is cut. get a heat protectent, turn down the heat on your flat iron and only flat iron when you have to.

You have to cut it. Be glad it's the bottom. I had a mishap at the top of my hair last year and had to cut out a good chunk.
