Painting helped me, too. As did the trip to the dentist, where I was told I had bitten my nails so much I had rounded off a corner of my tooth!!

I stopped biting them ever since I can remember, there long but that's the way I like them. Try painting them with a clear coat or you can buy a special nail polish with a disgusting taste which stops you from biting your nails

try not biting ur pinky nail for a week and then do the same for the other nails....thats how i stopped....hope this makes sense
