I can't work with this!

So I've been posting on here this month about a really unfortunate breakout. It came out of nowhere and I tried loads of things that y'all recommended but nothing worked. Then I took a wrong turn and tried this AcneFree kit thing. It began drying out my skin so I stopped using the toner and doubled on the lotion to no avail. After FINALLY visiting the derm yesterday, he told me the stuff was way too strong and I was possibly having an allergic reaction to it and I was really hurting my face. He told me to stop immediately and put me on a 5 step treatment with some soaps and lotions and gels and such (it's working slowly but it's getting there!). The SAD PART is: He told me the only kind of foundation I can wear while doing this treatment is Neutrogena or Clinique. I've already given Clinique a shot and disliked it, so I went out and bought a liquid Neutrogena foundation. I can't work with powders. The issue is: I hate it. I can't work with it. I'm used to my Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo or at the very least my Revlon Colorstay whipped. I'm having trouble with the application. I've tried a foundation brush and there's those streaks. I've tried my RT Expert face brush and it looks blotchy. My fingers don't work. And even my beauty blender does a crappy job. I've never had this issue with any foundation. Another downside is, derm also told me I can't use any face primer. Only the moisturizing lotion he gave me and the foundation. Does anybody know what else I can try so I won't get such a crappt application? This is getting depressing!

What? That's so weird. I used to have bad acne and I was told to use any non-comedogenic makeup (which equals most makeup on the market today anyway). But good that you're listening to your derm anyway! Have you tried Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup foundation? It's one of my favorites and it looks beautiful.

I HATED that foundation, but I used their foundation for acne prone skin for years and loved it. It does have a small amount of salicylic acid in it though, so check with our derm. The healthy skin one may also be an option. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it either.

I havent tried the Healthy Skind one ladies! I think I might just have to give it a go.
Hmm I think I would have to check with him about that acne one Kailey!
Thank you ladies for your recommendations!

Have you considered the Origins Stay Tuned Balancing face makeup? It's a liquid foundation, medium to full coverage and it works pretty good and it's fairly long lasting
