Is this stuff for real?

I happened to be up late last night and I saw an infomercial for ITCosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer. It looks pretty amazing, and I know it's a great brand. Here's what confused me. Jamie, the brand owner, was on tv proudly proclaiming she was wearing this new full coverage moisturizer and nothing else on her skin. She took a makeup wipe and wiped it away to reveal bright red, angry red skin. I mean, BIG TIME red. She also claimed that the full coverage moisturizer has skin care ingredients to help improve your skin. Here's what I don't get. Sure, maybe she has rosacea, but if her products help improve your skin so much, (AND being a brand owner I'm sure she can afford rosacea treatments) then why is her skin so terribly red underneath? Was this just a marketing trick?
I went to the website to buy it but of course it's three payments of $39 or something to that effect because it's a kit of several items. So I declined and decided to wait for it to come out in stores. What do the experts think? (I'm talking to you Alma and Jacqueline!)
Is it too good to be true? If not I may buy it. Any thoughts or opinions are greatly appreciated!!

IKR?? If it works like they say it does then I want three in every color. For me and for my clients. It would really be revolutionary. I want to know when it's coming out in stores.

Kathryn, I have this moisturizer and I've been using it for months. I can't speak to the aspect of why her face is still so red, but there are a few things that have puzzled me. And, on that note, does she actually claim that it improves rosacea, or just that it covers the rosacea? Personally, I cannot find the difference between the Bye Bye Foundation and the CC cream. They look alike to me, feel alike, cover alike...it seems like the same product with a much higher price tag. I have written to them a multitude of times, asking, first, what they claim the difference is. The answer is, each and every time, that Bye Bye has 3-D Skin Flex. I have re-worded the inquisition several different ways, and get the same, pre-scripted answer. I've emailed them and I've gone on their website where questions are actually posted. I always get them same answer - no explanation! I even asked what their "intention" for this product was as compared to the CC cream, and got the exact, pre-scripted answer. Another woman posted on their website, asking why she should spend more money on ByeBye when it's so similar to CC, and receive my same answer. When I tried to complain to them, they did not print my question. Anyway, I use it, I use the CC, and when I'm out of the Bye Bye, I won't reorder it and spend so much more than the CC costs. The CC is fabulous!

And...I've posted here a couple of times asking if anyone can tell a difference between the 2, and I have not gotten a response.

Chris thank you so much!! I didn't realize it was already out it in stores. I figured since they had an infomercial they were just introducing it. I'm SO glad to hear this info. Thank you so much! That is exactly what I was looking for!!

I don't believe it's in stores. I got it through QVC, figuring I'd get to try some of their other products, which was nice for a few months and then I had received anything I'd been interested in, decided I didn't need to repurchase the Bye Bye, and cancelled my subscription.

I've watched this infomercial... And it was for another product I believe. She did the same reveal of her red skin underneath the makeup using the wipe. Then They said they will demo the product on her so people with Rosacea can see how much it will cover it... She started to do the demo then they cut out and skipped the actual "covering up" and showed the finished look. I was like what?!!

I was wondering the same thing! I was intrigued at first but then I looked at the website, and watched more of the infomercial and noticed what Livi pointed out and I decided I was going to pass for now. When it hits stores I'll get a sample and try it out and definitely let you know how I like it because now I'm just really curious lol.

Thanks ladies! It sounds like a miracle product. ITCosmetics is such a good brand, I don't want them to be tricking us!

I think it'll be a good product but it just seems confusing to me based on what Chris said about her contacting them because I'd love to know the differences between that and the CC cream. I wish someone on here tried it! I was confused with the pricing on the website for the infomercial too but like I said it's something I'll for sure be getting a sample of!

Jacqueline how do you know all this stuff? Where did you learn? I want to go where you went. I want to know all these things. You gave out some amazing, detailed information. Teach me your ways!

Lol!! Love the Star Wars reference. I love everything you just said and I'm going buy that book. Did you become a makeup artist on your own or did you attend an academy that taught you a lot more than the academies I've attended?
Thank you for the info! I'm going to start researching things like that. That's some really good advice, THANK YOU for being willing to share it with me!

I so agree with you 100%!! I don't have a school that offers a diploma anywhere near me so I've gone to three "academies", the first one just to show up and get my board permit, the last two were taught by reputable artists but it wasn't a six month long thing where I learned as much as you. I just have to try to get education where I can since I'm not close to anything big like that. It's awesome to know you here, again, thank you for being so willing to answer all my questions. I WISH I could go to a school like you did. I'm with you on the bs schools by just anybody or by social media artists. I feel like the whole social media thing gives the industry a bad name. It gives the general public a misconception about who we are and what we do. I could go on and on. I'll stop! No negativity. Anyway, do you have an IG or FB I can follow you on? I would love to see some work you do.
