Contouring is meant to create a shadow so you add depth and dimension back to the skin. Contouring should be done with a cool toned color so it creates as a shadow, as opposed to something warm toned (like a bronzer) that creates a sun kissed look.

You can contour your forehead to make it look smaller, the sides of your nose to make it appear taller and thinner, under the chin and jawline to sharpen it up, and the cheekbones to make them appear more prominent.

For a very affordable and perfect contour color product I suggest NYX HD Blush in Taupe.
