I mean if its bleeding you might not want to irritate it. Using some Neosporin and covering it up with a band aid at night would defunetly help.

I have very dry skin in the world yet and Hawaiian moon aloe is a great heavy duty moisturizer. And it's 100% natural. A tub of it can be expensive but a little bit goes a long way so it'll last forever! And it has a lot of other uses like for burns and scabs.

I agree on the Aquaphor, Vaseline or my favorite (although expensive) Egyptian Magic Cream. All of these salve/balm like products are occlusive and will block moisture evaporation. You need a product that doesn't contain water.

I always put extra moisturizer on when my nose is dry and flaky, then I cover it with some sort of sealant like the Yube cream which is available at Sephora. Vaseline, Aquaphor, all of that will work as well.

Aquaphor is a lifesaver when it comes to dry skin. I used to have extremely oily skin but ever since I started Accutane my skin has been really dry and aquaphor is the only thing to help so far.

I don't know if this is allowed on here but I have a couple of beauty related questions about colds. I am so sorry if this is in the wrong category

So my mom has a really bad cold and I think I may have caught it. Under my nose always gets really dry, cracked and painful. Using moisturizer doesn't seem to make a difference.

Is there anything I can do to help?

Thank you
