What primer and what eyeshadow do you use?
And when you say it won't stick do you then mean that the color isnt vibrat enough or does non of the product stick to your lid?
You can use some shadows wet, but not with plain water - I use a diy Fix + (Moderator Kitty has the recipe on her profile) what I spray ever so lightly on a synthetic brush to give some of my shadows a foiled look :)
