Omg! I just received the Morphe 35w Palette which is a "warm" palette. And it is "gorgeous". The shades are much more saturated in person than online. I thought the top row was going to be a bunch of highlight shades. But they are actually beautiful medium toned, "glowing" transitional type of shades. And I was planning on getting the 35o palette when it's in stock or possibly just go to the store to get it. My question is, Is it the worth getting the 35o palette (another warm palette ) when I already have the 35w? I was originally attracted to the 35o because of the oranges and terracotta shades, but surprisingly, the 35w has about 5 or 6 orange and terracotta shades. Anyone have both the 35o and the 35w? If so, what are your thoughts about them. The 35o on top, the 35w on the bottom (the one I have).

Well, these are the only Morphe shadows I own. I was at the Morphe store and was going to create my own palette, but I was overwhelmed and indecisive and just bought a bunch of brushes and some brush cleaner instead. The pic I posted is a little deceiving. The shades look much cooler in the pic. Only cool shades I see in the 35w is 2nd row, 5th shadow (pink) and 3rd row 7th shadow (satin dove grey). Even the purple in the 3rd row , 4th shadow is kinda of a neutral purple, not warm and not too cool and darker in person. It looks more cranberry/purple in the pic. My co-worker ordered the 35o and I was waiting for her to receive it so I could see it before I decided. But it has been going in and out out stock, and I'm getting a little antsy.

I've only got the 35O. I think for the price you really do get a good value. Their shimmery shadows are nice and pigmented but I find their matte shades to be generally chalky and not very blendable, so it does prevent me from reaching for it too often. You do get what you pay for of course, the ingredients in these shadows aren't the best but they're great to grow your collection colour wise and play around with!

I only have the 35n and the shadows aren't as pigmented as I thought. But. It's still great.

Brittany, Was it the lighter colors that were chalky?

Marj, If I'm not mistaken, isn't the 35n the all matte version of the 35w?

The mattes in general seemed to be chalkier than the shimmers, the ldarker colours though I noticed that they don't go on as evenly as I would like especially when you're trying to blend them out and not look messy or splotchy. The lights are fine, I usually don't touch a lot of the lighter colours that some may use as transition shades because I've got a darker skin tone so my preferred transition shades are darker than a lot of people's haha

Brittany, I watched a review of a girl who said one of the reasons she liked the 35o palette was because it had darker transitional colors. But the pic shows a lot of lighter colors. I'm going to wait till my friend receives hers in the mail, and check it out first. I'm fortunate enough to live 20 minutes away from the actual Morphe store, so I could just drive out there, if it's sold out online. If the 35n is the matte version of the 35w then that would mean the the matte shadows in my palette are the same as in your palette. So far, none are swatching chalky on me. Theyre all creamy and soft, with the exception of the shimmery black shade, which is just a hair less soft. Its possible it's because I'm more of a golden medium skintone or maybe because I haven't tried them on my eyes yet.

Yeah they don't swatch very bad, and I'm not saying they're bad shadows at all- they're great for the price especially because you get so many of them for so cheap!

I've never said this before about any product, but I am "obsessing" on this pallete. I had some stickers lying around and I thought it would be fun to blind out my palette. If that's not obsessing, I don't know what is!

Jeez I'm distracted, I didn't even finish my though lol! I didn't find them overwhelmingly chalky, just that the mattes were chalkier than the shimmers! Love the shimmers though, such beautiful pigmentation and dimension. The mattes were just hard to get an even blend

Oh yeah, and if you like it check out Hautelook! They've currently got the 35B, C, D, E, N & W on for 15 bucks a pop!

Well, I'm going to try them out tomorrow. I'm not even a palette kind of girl. I only had 2 before. The Too Faced Chocolate Bar and Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate (can you tell I love my warm neutrals). Then I just got the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette which is also "gorg" but probably suited more for fair to medium skintones. And now the 35w! I originally WAS going to get the 35o but it was sold out, then I was going to get the 12nb...SOLD OUT. So I got the 35w, which I'm so glad I did.

Could you search the deeper colors and share the pic? I see these palettes on HauteLook all of the time, but don't know about color payoff.

Mj. 35w. 5th row (last row)

Mj. I already posted the 35w palette above. Now that I swatched them, I find that I did have to run my finger over the color about 2-3 times to get the color saturation on my arm. And the mattes, although soft, did feel slightly chalky. The satins were better. But, for the price, it's still worth it because you get so many, that I knew I was going to love at least half of the shades. I don't usually wear heavy, dark shadows, so I'm going to use the last 2 rows along the lash line and for defining and adding depth to the out corners. I love the orangy shades in this palette, although I don't think they are as orange as the ones in the  35o.
