I have dry to oily skin but with this weather my skin is more dry right now and when I put my foundation it looks flakey. so what would be a good moisturizer before makeup.

Cerave Moisturizing cream, my all time fave moisturizer and it's quite inexpensive

Aurora, would you happen to be talking about the round jar of body cream? just curious because I have cerave face lotions and have never come across face cream by them.

Lara, yes. This particular one is good for very dry skin and the company suggests it for drier areas like elbows and knees but also say that it's great for your face too since its non-comedogenic.
When my mom was on accutane they gave her samples of the lotion for the dryness, when that didn't help they gave her samples of the cream which did help.
I'm on tretinoin and use the cream which is the only thing that's helped with the dryness, peeling and redness.
It's heavier but it's not at all greasy compared to Eucerin and it's a lot more hydrating than the Cetaphil moisturizing cream which I personally think works better for normal, oily or combo skin.
