I'm 16, and very rarely break out. My skin is soft and nice besides my hyper pigmentation. Its the worst on my cheeks and forhead. I have used Tretenoin, retenin, bio oil, and other products but nothing seems to help (only irritate my severely sensitive skin). Leave anything that may help. I'm open to anything. xx

Whatever you use, it's going to take time. months, even years of consistent skincare maintenance with the correct products. I know when you're trying to clear up your skin, you want fast results. But you can't rush it. The retin-A is very effective but if you're not using it as directed and trying to rush it , you could be slowing down your progress. If you are using it as directed and have tried spacing it out but still have irritation, you may have to quit the retin-A. I would incorporate a Vitamin C serum into your routine, a brightening moisterizer and a SUNSCREEN everyday. One day of unprotected sun exposure can reverse 6 months of progress.

Hey. I had really bad Hyperpigmentation that went within two weeks. I had it for over ten years. What helped me was : nip and fab glycolic face scrub and also their glycolic acid cleanser. 30% lactic acid from MUA. And finally brown sugar, lemon and honey as an exfoliate. Hope this helps
