I've been on a hunt for a new foundation because I'm just done with what I've been using. I've been using the MAC Studio Fix Powder for a long time now and I only kept using it on my dry sensitive skin because I was too scared to try anything else. I have also used a Sephora powder a while back and hated how it sat on my skin. So I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations for liquid or cream foundations for my dry skin, which can get oily in the t-zone as the day progresses. I've tried some Nars foundations and they made me break out like crazy. I also tried the Makeup Forever HD foundation which broke apart and exaggerated my dry areas. I've tried one MAC foundation (I don't remember which one) and it was great but oxidized and made me look red. Please help D:

How about the born this way from too faced? It has great reviews and also the Dior star or Dior forever.
You should try a sample and let me know.

I 2nd Born This Way. It's targeted to those with dry skin, but it's not too moisterizing so it probably won't make your t-zone get out of control. You may have to touch up during the day but the natural finish of this foundation is worth it. Honestly, you're not going to find a foundation that's going to be able to cater perfectly to 2 kinds of skintypes. Finding something right in the middle is more realistic.

Origins has a balancing liquid foundation and I think it's pretty good for combination skin.
Or perhaps check out some Clinique foundations?

What is your skin prep routine? (Products you are using prior to applying foundation.)
The Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation is great for combo skin. It leaves a beautiful finish and medium coverage.
I also like Make up Forevers Face and Body foundation.

Thanks for the suggestions! I use a Clean and Clear moisturizer mixed with a PCA Skin moisturizer or sometimes I will just use a CeraVe noncomedogenic moisturizer lotion then prime with Benefit's Porefessional. Recently I have just been going to Sephora and grabbing any random samples. I've been wearing Tarte's Amazonian Clay Foundation with an Origin's CC Cream underneath and I don't know how I feel about it quite yet

I've heard good things about Born This Way, but I've heard that after using it a few times people with sensitive skin have broken out from it so I've been a little hesitant to try it out for that reason!
