Hello! I had severe acne 2 years by now, with acne scars included. Would someone give me makeup tips? or suggest different things?

You can use color correctors concealers to help cover scars, my doctor told me don't drink cow's milk, no white rice, no white flour, less sugar...I did that and my skin improved

The only thing I can think of is maybe taking to your doctor about birth control for your acne.

Color correctors are very good to help cover dark spots and acne.

Makeup is a temporary solution. I do have a few good methods for covering up scars and fresh pimples. but I can tell you that pimples can't always be completely controlled especially if its due to hormones. one thing you can do! is when they come you can prevent them from getting bad. try a topical acne product with benzoil peroxide at night after your face routine. make sure your routine is ORDERLY. wash with clean washcloth (not used more than 2-3 days bc of mildew build up) massage wash into face gently. after washing, apply toner. after toning, MOISTURIZE. even if your skin is oily never skip this step. if you do, your skin will work over time to replace oils and naturally become more oily. after that apply the topical acne product (best if prescribed by dermatologist but I just found what works for me with trial and error). then get plenty of rest!! resting time is when your skin regenerates itself.
ALWAYS, remember to change your pillowcases every 2-4 days, flipping between uses.
ALSO plenty of water, better foods, less fried foods, whatever works best for your body, pay attention to the way your body reacts to things. this is very important.

Now for the makeup. gently exfoliate your skin to make sure no bumps are flaky from healing. moisturize well. sometimes I put neosporin on them to get them soft and also speed up healing process. applying a redness removal toner helps your skin settle & takes some of the redness away. (also you can ice the red spots before you start the moisture process) next apply a green toned concealer to hide the redness. over it, apply your regular concealer. cover spot well and blend over unmarked skin. apply foundation. USE A LOOSE POWDER TO SET. very important to prevent makeup from moving or sweating off.

Not redness removal toner * my mistake. I meant redness decreasing PRIMER.
