My brushes smell bad..

So I recently ordered brushes and them came in a week ago, but I noticed a smell like a warehouse or a factory stench the day I got it but I just though maybe that because they're still new and in one wash they'll be okay, so that might I washed them and the eye brushes are very faint but the face ones are so strong as soon as you open the brush holder. I also just washed them again and they smell but just a little better. ( I used a brush shampoo, and cleanser. I also used an ordinary soap bar, and some shampoos)

What kind of material is the brush holder made of? it may be causing the smell. try storing them in an open container like a glass jar for a week and see if it helps.

I agree with storing them outside of the container to let them breathe and air out, hopefully that helps! where did you order the brushes?

You could wash them with baby soap. baby soap is gentle on skin and pretty much everything else you use it on.

You can try washing them a good smelling shampoo and conditioner (:

Hey so I followed each and everyone of these answers and they literally don't smell bad at all!! And they're now super soft and smell just like my shampoo aha!! thanks everyone :)
