How can I wear a tank top?

For Christmas I got a really pretty kinda loose and flowy tank top and I thought I could wear it for New Years, but since it's cold I'm not sure how I could? Anyone have ideas?

A picture would definitely help but last year for Christmas I wore a sparkly flowy tank top with a leather jacket over it and paired it with skinny jeans & heels.

I agree , A cute leather jacket with maybe some studs. Or a blazer. Maybe a red one to add a pop with some nude color closed toe heels!
