Ok so I've really wanted my tragus for a while but I still have a few questions. first, where you able to wear headphones afterwards? If not does anyone have any other suggestions for ear piercings? lastly, how bad would you rate the pain? thank you!!

I'm sure if you get a flat backing like labret jewellery you should be able to wear headphones

You can wear headphones but I remember it didn't feel too comfortable until it started to heal a bit more. Tragus piercing is super easy though, doesn't hurt to get pierced. :)

I just got mine redone last week after having them out for two years. Headphones shouldn't be a problem but since I'm an ear bud gal they definitely were annoying. Also, the more they move and are irritated equals longer healing time. Otherwise I loved them (hence why I got them done again)!

And pain is subjective. To me, it wasn't bad at all compared to other piercings.

I think everyone's body reacts different to pain. For me, my tragus was one of my more painful piercings. not necessarily painful to get but the healing process for me was very painful. I have 16 piercings total and others were much easier for me pain wise. As far as headphones you absolutely can use them. I think if you really want it go for it! I love mine and for me it was worth the pain during healing. and you're body may heal different than mine and be super easy for you! Everyone is different, I hope I helped somewhat!

I'd like to add a question: how easy is the cleaning? It seems hard to soak because of the placement.

I don't have a tragus piercing, but I got my nose pierced a while back and what I would do is put the salt water solution in a cup then dip a q-tip in and clean my piercing with the q-tip. To ensure I was cleaning it well, I would use one side of the q-tip to clean the outside of the piercing then the other side of the q-tip to clean the inside.

My piercer gave me a sea salt spray which I just sprayed on the piercing and used a q-tip to get the back side of the piercing. That worked fine for me. It healed fine for me.
