SOS which mac fluid foundation is better: STUDIO FIX, PRO LONGWEAR or MATCHMASTER? I need one thats good for covering acne scars, something that I can wear for a whole day even at school and one that does NOT look cakey. and a matte finish

I love love love my pro long wear I've finished my bottle I need to get another! It's medium coverage and lasts for ages and looks so nice!:) and Cakey? Do you mean something that doesn't look Cakey?

For me, the matchmaster and studio fix fluid felt and wore the same.
I'm someone with oily skin and they both gave a sort of... Natural matte finish.
Both lasted long but I think the Matchmaster feels a little lighter? But the coverage is about the same.
The studio fix fluid really smooths out my skin without primer which is nice.
To me, the only differences are the color ranges.
I find that the studio fix fluid range is either really yellow or really pink.

The Matchmaster is more neutral (as in peach) so it works better for most skin tones although I lean more Golden and olive and NC30 is a perfect match whereas the Matchmaster made me look a bit peachy.

The pro Longwear doesn't have medium coverage IMO I feel like it's more of a light/light medium to medium coverage.
It's not very buildable in my opinion. I actually felt this particular formula caked up quite a bit and made my pores look horrible.
I used NC30 and it was orange but the other shades match well to their counterparts in other formulas.

I actually prefer the Pro Longwear nourishing waterproof one more than the original pro Longwear.
Without powder it's got a satin... Semi matte finish.
It's medium buildable coverage. When it's built up it doesn't really get cakey.
I prefer applying it with fingers and doing thin layers (letting each dry down first) pressing it in the skin.
Unlike the original pro Longwear, the waterproof one doesn't have that tacky feeling.
Out of the two I do think the waterpoof one lasts longer/wears throughout the day better.

IMO I think it comes down more to the Studio Fix Fluid (for my personal coloring) and the Pro Longwear nourishing waterproof.

The studio fix fluid has more coverage than the pro Longwear.
I'm pretty sure the studio fix fluid is thicker... Or maybe it just seems thicker cause it's kind of hard to get out the glass bottle (recommend buying the pump) vs a squeeze tube (like the pro Longwear)

The pro Longwear one is actually quite... HD friendly. No flashback, doesn't really look like you have on a lot of makeup and looks like skin.
The studio fix fluid, I haven't gotten flashback from it but I think some people do but not much.
It does look like makeup, it sort of... Smooths out the skin a bit too much and can look like you have on a lot of makeup because of that. It doesn't look cakey though. It does last all day though, BUT this particular foundation can have issues with transferring even when it's been set. You really have to get a powder puff and press the powder on rather than a light dusting otherwise it'll transfer quite a bit.

The pro Longwear you can use a light dusting of powder and won't really get any transfer.
The pro Longwear (waterproof) shades run a little lighter.
I wear the shade NC35 in this range and I'd really suggest getting a sample.
When you apply it... It looks yellow (the NC shades anyway) but as it dries down it can... Dry down more peach.
Basically, it oxidizes a little, so does the studio fix fluid but I never had an issue with the studio fix fluid changing undertone quite like that, like if it looked peachy then it would oxidize a darker shade but still be peachy.
If it were really yellow, it's oxide a darker yellow. Etc.

So... I would get samples and really... Make sure to wear it a little to know exactly which shade matches best.

Hmmm if you want very long lasting where you'll be in a very humid environment, prone to sweating etc.then I'd go with the Pro Longwear nourishing waterpoof. It doesn't have quite as much coverage but you can always use a concealer (that matches your skin for blemishes and hyperpigmentation) like the studio finish concealer(quite full coverage, lasts long once you set it)

or the pro Longwear concealer(medium buildable but dries down/holds up better on the skin without having to set)

If you're not that oily, don't perspire and not in an overly hot environment then I'd go for the studio fix fluid.
It does hold up for the whole day but I just think the pro Longwear holds up better in more... Hot scenarios

Matchmaster is lighter bit it's the only one that doesn't cause breakouts
